  2. Have you considered a Toyota FJ Cruiser?
We've got one, great ride, not a ton of room - hence the Honda Odyssey purchase today. We traded in our 07 Mazda3. Daughter #2 is coming this Saturday, wife wanted more room. Anyway, I've been enjoying your blog, great stuff.

  3. Danny,

    Congrats on Daughter #2--Very exciting!

The Odyssey is definitely a great vehicle. I've been comparing it with different vehicles and no other one has as much storage space and comfort--it actually makes it hard to give it up. It just confirms to me that we made the right choice when we got it. You won't be disappointed. The Odyssey really handles well, too, so the other day after a bit of "spirited" driving, my wife simply said, "You don't have to get rid of the Ody for a sports car, you can just drive the Ody like a sports car!"

The only reason why we're considering getting is new vehicle is to try to become a one vehicle family. It's hard though because we don't want make too many compromises.

I heard that Honda might come out with a diesel engine for the Odyssey--that might be something for us to consider.

Anyway, I appreciate your comments and all the best to your family!
